SmarTECH Art Reproductions is a giclee printer offering artists image capture and reproductions of their fine art.

We decided a few years ago to begin offering printing photos on canvas because so many individuals have taken one of a kind snap shots that capture nature and family in their grandest moments. We all have that favorite photo. Emotion is a large part of the attraction to a painting, and also to a photo. A canvas print of a photo adds texture and softness that a photo paper print just can’t deliver. Photos printed on canvas have a fine art quality about them.

Some of the advantages of our canvas prints are that:

  • We use professional quality canvas
  • We varnish our prints so that they are water resistant
  • With a canvas print you do not need to add glass or matting
  • Our canvas prints are printed with uv resistant pigment based inks, for fade resistance
  • Framing our stretched canvas prints is a simple matter of finding a frame that suites your room

WHAT WE DO

The canvas prints are accomplished through the following steps:

  1. We download your digital file you sent to your cart.

  2. We perform any modifications to the original digital print that you may have ordered.

  3. We size and crop the print to meet the aspect ratio that you requested. See Get Tech'E for an explanation of aspect ratio.

  4. Your photo is printed, and given 24 hours to dry for varnishing.

  5. We varnish your print for water resistance.

  6. We stretch your print as ordered and ship.

  7. Most prints ship within 4 days of order.
